As an Art Director on the eCOMMERCE Team at DIRECTV, I led the comprehensive, end-to-end delivery of diverse creative projects, with a strong emphasis on developing impactful visual solutions for complex episodic campaigns and high-stakes limited-time offers. My work involved expertly utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite to craft compelling designs that consistently drove successful objectives and campaigns within an ever-evolving digital landscape. I took full ownership of the design and development process, from initial concepts to final execution, collaborating seamlessly with business owners and implementation teams to ensure web pages were successfully built and launched. Across various marketing campaigns, my focus remained on maintaining and elevating brand quality.
A pivotal achievement was spearheading the successful relaunch of DIRECTV.com in August 2021 with all-new branding. This extensive project involved close, cross-departmental collaboration with development, user experience, product marketing, go-to-market, and brand partners. My core role was to interpret and implement the new brand assets and strategic direction across over 20 redesigned landing pages, seeing this significant launch through from conception to completion.
Building on this success, August 2022 saw the launch of a more streamlined e-commerce experience. This strategic redesign, informed by rigorous A/B testing, notably improved progression to shop and contributed to a 5% increase in online sales. My role at that time involved continuing our work to personalize DIRECTV.com for niche audiences — delivering tailored and winning experiences for diverse users like sports fans, movie lovers, and news watchers — and constantly A/B testing to learn how we could optimize our new user experience.
